What should I wear, what should I bring, and when should I arrive for my first class?

For your first class, be sure to bring a bottle of water. We suggest you wear fitted workout clothes, ideally ones that wick away moisture. You should arrive15 minutes before class starts to meet your coach and ask any questions. Come to the Fast Factory ready to work hard and have fun!

How do I sign up for classes?

We suggest you make a reservation for CrossFit classes through Zen Planner. You are welcome to show up without a reservation, but there is no guarantee there will be room in class.

If it’s your first time, you should arrive15 minutes before class to meet your coach and ask questions. If you want to attend during our most popular times (early morning or evening classes), make sure you arrive 10-15 minutes early.

Can I attend CrossFit classes if I’ve never done a CrossFit class before?

The movements performed in CrossFit are unique and it’s necessary to build a foundation to set you up for success. Anyone new to CrossFit is required to attend our On-Ramp course to learn basic CrossFit terminology and core Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics, and body-weight movements.

What if I'm not that flexible or have an injury?

Many of the movements you learn during CrossFit actually promote flexibility. You don’t have to be flexible to start doing CrossFit. In addition, all movements can be modified to work around existing injuries.

What makes the Fast Factory different than other fitness programs?

Regardless of age or fitness level, CrossFit is right for you. By varying the load and intensity, we start you at a level appropriate to your fitness and experience. We take an old-school approach emphasizing fundamental, functional movements with proper technique. Our workouts involve exercises that mimic everyday movements so that you can become stronger and more efficient in day-to-day activities.

Ever-changing workouts make CrossFit fun and different. Workouts are most often completed within group classes, which are capped at a maximum of 25 athletes with an average class size of 16. This provides you with the attention from the trainer that is necessary for your safety and success. You will be challenged both mentally and physically in your workouts, but will find a great sense of camaraderie with those you are working out with.

Weight training not only improves your general quality of life, but it also increases your physical work capacity and improves your ability to perform daily activities.
